When should I report my legal problem?

If you anticipate encountering a legal problem or find yourself in a legal situation, it is advisable to promptly reach out to Anker Rechtshulp. By seeking timely legal assistance, you can prevent minor disputes from escalating into legal conflicts. You can get in touch with one of our Intake & Advice staff members who are available on weekdays from 8:30 am to 5 pm by calling 050 520 97 95. Alternatively, you can conveniently report your case online.

Where can I get legal assistance insurance?

You cannot take out our legal expenses insurance directly with us. You can only take out legal assistance insurance through one of the affiliated insurance advisers of the authorised insurance companies or fellow insurers we work with. The authorised insurance companies are authorised to act on behalf of Anker Insurance and are responsible for sending the policy and invoice. The affiliated insurance advisor will help you find the right insurance solution. The moment you have a legal problem, you can turn to the lawyers at Anker Rechtshulp.

I need quick legal assistance. How can I get it?

Report your legal problem to Anker Rechtshulp by phone so that we can help you immediately. Contact one of the staff at Intake & Advice. They can be reached by phone on weekdays from 8.30am to 5pm at 050 520 97 95.

How can I change my legal assistance insurance?

You have legal expenses insurance from Anker Insurance. On your policy schedule you can see which insurance adviser you are insured through. Do you have a question about your insurance, would you like to make a change of address or do you have a question about your invoice, for example? Then contact your intermediary. You will find your intermediary’s details on your policy sheet.

How much is the hourly rate?

Have you taken out the ‘Tax & Vermogen’ module as a private client? Then the following applies to this;

On this module the internal and external costs, including VAT, are insured up to a maximum of € 10,000 per conflict.

Conflicts concerning tax law, asset management and a second home in the European Union are often complex. We can therefore outsource the handling of conflicts insured in this module to a legal assistance provider specialized in these matters. We charge a fixed amount per hour for this, regardless of the actual hourly rate charged by this legal assistance provider (which will often be considerably higher). We also charge a fixed amount per hour for the hours we make ourselves.

The applied rate is €100 per hour.

What does Anker Insurance Company do in the event of fraud?


If fraud is involved, we can take a number of actions, including:

  • reject the claim and not pay the claim;
    reclaim a paid claim;
    charge additional costs incurred through a liability claim;
    cancel the insurance;
    make a report to the police;
    make a report in the central fraud reporting system of Stichting CIS;
